Phoebe Dahl FW 2015/2016

In occasione del lancio della nuova collezione Basic Collection simply perfect for her and for him lanciata da Phobe Dahl per il suo brand, vorrei parlarvi di Faircloth Supply.

In the occasion of the new basic collection ( simply perfect for her and for him) launched by Phoebe Dahl for her brand, I would like to introduce you Faircloth Supply.

Il suo brand è nato a Los Angeles nel 2013 dopo un viaggio di lavoro in Giappone che l’ha ispirata. La cosa più importante è che per ogni capo che viene acquistato la compagnia dona due uniformi e la possibilità di andare a scuola ad una bambina in Nepal. La compagnia lavora con la General Welfare Pratisthan. Come Phoebe Dahl ha detto “la mia azienda ha a cuore l’emancipazione delle donne” ed ha aggiunto che “ ho scoperto che la radice dell’emancipazione è l’istruzione […] perché se indossi un’uniforme, mostri alla gente che sei una persona istruita e che hai speranza nel futuro, in questo modo i trafficanti non si avvicinano”.

Her fashion brand was launched in Los Angeles last 2013 after a business trip to Japan that inspired her. The most important thing is that for each item sold the company donates two uniforms, school supplies and a one-year scholarship to a girl in Nepal. The company works with nonprofit General Welfare Pratisthan. As Phoebe Dahl said her “company started with the cause of women’s empowerment” and she added that “I found that the root of empowerment is education […] because if you are wearing an uniform, you are telling everyone that you are educated and that you have hope ahead of you, so the traffickers just won’t approach you”.

Tutti i capi della collezione sono fatti a mano, il tessuto che viene usato è il lino e sono tutti molto eleganti e perfetti per ogni occasione: per il lavoro, per viaggiare, per fare una passeggiata, qualunque cosa tu desideri. I colori sono perfetti per essere abbinati con qualunque cosa.

All the items of the collection are handmade, the fabric used is linen and they are all elegant and suitable for every occasion: working, travelling, walking whatever you want. The colours are perfect to be matched with whatever you want.
